Vice President JD Vance is set to make history as the first sitting U.S. Vice President to publicly speak in support of Bitcoin when he delivers a keynote address at the upcoming Bitcoin 2025 Conference in Las Vegas later this month.

Vance will take the main stage at The Venetian on May 28 at 9:00 a.m. PST, addressing thousands of attendees as part of the event’s “Code + Country” programming track. The address will also be streamed globally via Bitcoin Magazine’s media channels and X account.
His appearance at the Bitcoin conference comes one year after President Donald Trump delivered a historic speech at Bitcoin 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee while he was still on the campaign trail. The Bitcoin 2025 Conference, scheduled to run from May 27-29 at The Venetian, is expected to draw over 30,000 attendees from around the world.
A Voice for Bitcoin
Public financial records show Vance personally holds between $250,000 and $500,000 in Bitcoin, highlighting a direct financial interest in the digital asset he has supported during his time in the Senate.
